Traditional Family Martial Arts in Stonehaven. Kido Mu Sool Kwan, is part of the Hanminjok Hapkido association and is a truly unique martial art which contains the entire spectrum of Korean martial history, from the peaceful, defensive Buddhist principles, the loyalty and tradition of the tribal arts and honourable Royal Court weapons used to defend the Korean Sovereigns.

We teach a wide range of martial arts skills from hand and foot strikes, grappling and self-defence to traditional weapons training, body conditioning and meditation techniques. We look forward to welcoming you to our school. No matter what your level, we have a class to suit your needs.

Youth and Adult Classes

For ages 13 and over. Embark on a lifelong journey and explore the history of the traditional Korean Martial Arts. With hard work, perseverance and strong mental attitude, you could achieve your black belt in 4 years!

We have a wide range of activities from hand and foot strikes, martial forms, acrobatics, body conditioning and meditation. Once you have developed enough skill, you may earn the opportunity to use some of Korea's most historic and impressive weaponry, including swords, archery and staffs.

So come along and take part in a family friendly, intellectual, martial arts system that dates back over a thousand years and incorporates some of the most iconic traditions of the Korean arts.

Little Dragons and Junior Classes

For students aged 4-12. Take part in a family friendly, intellectual, martial arts system that dates back over a thousand years and incorporates some of the most iconic traditions of the Korean arts.

The little dragons and juniors sessions, emphasise energetic confidence building and provide an introduction to the wider Korean Martial Arts.

Develop skills that will improve mental and physical conditioning, help with coordination and promote increased academic and interpersonal attainment.
